I watched this cattle egret land on a neighbor's fence and begin walking upward.
I surmised it will be "framed" by the middle window in due time and I snapped
this shot as soon as it happened!

Our backyard lake is active with visitors from up north. This early,
I've already seen more species of ducks, more tricolored and green
herons and lots of egrets than last year. This should be a very
fruitful winter, bird photography wise. :)

In photography class my freshman year (which I havent taken since), they taugh us to make a frame so that we could see exactly what the camera will be taking a picture of. So I tried it =)
A devotee capturing the beauty of Lord Swaminarayan, the actual subject is registered as a bokeh.

This picture shows framing by the way that the chicken in position in front of the bars, this also shows line as well from the bars. The bars frame the chicken's head and makes it the main center of attention in the photo.
Wooden fram handpainted a buttery yellow with bits of stained glass, half marbles, faux pearls, and irridescent beads.
Frame measures 8"x6" holds 6"x4" picture
Not ideal time of day for pictures, but was lucky with the clouds that gave me both not too strong light, and a background subject

I ran across this unusual broken tree while out morel mushroom hunting one spring. Nothing around it was touched and I am still baffled at what caused it. I had never seen a tree split like this before.
